ABOUT US
Housing built on dignity and second chances.
Rooms4Felons was founded on a simple belief: a stable home is the foundation of a successful reentry. Yet for millions of returning citizens, the housing search is the first door that slams shut. We exist to change that.
Our mission
To connect returning citizens with fair-chance housing and wraparound support — so that the next chapter lasts. We do this by building trust between renters, housing providers, and reentry partners, and by making the path from application to move-in clear and dignified.
The problem we solve
Over 600,000 people are released from prison each year in the United States. Most face blanket housing denials based on their record, pushing them toward instability and recidivism. We replace the wall of "no" with a fair, supported path to "yes."
What we stand for
Fairness
We believe everyone deserves to be evaluated as a person, not a record. Our process is transparent and bias-aware.
Dignity
Returning citizens are rebuilding their lives. We treat every applicant with respect, privacy, and care.
Partnership
Housing stability is a team effort. We connect renters, providers, and reentry organizations into one support network.
